Step - 01
Check Eligibility
Contact us first so we confirm you qualify to join.
You must have:
- A boda boda motorcycle
- Valid A2 driving license
- Have a valid National ID Card
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- KRA PIN certificate
- Valid motorcycle insurance
Step - 02
Registration
After eligibility is confirmed, complete your registration and pay the following fees:
- Registration fee : KSh 2,000
- SACCO member reflector: KSh 700
- Member ID card: KSh 400
Step - 03
Application Approval
Your application will be reviewed by the Sacco.
Once your documents are verified, your membership will be approved.
Step - 04
Become an Active Member
After approval you can begin participating fully in the SACCO.
You can:
- Purchase SACCO capital shares
- Start saving with the SACCO
- Access member benefits and opportunities

Frequently Asked Questions
Any boda boda rider who meets the membership requirements can join. You must have a motorcycle, a valid A2 driving license, with a National ID card, and provide the required documents such as a KRA PIN and certificate of good conduct.
To register you will pay a one-time registration fee of KSh 2,000, a SACCO reflector fee of KSh 700, and a member ID card fee of KSh 400.
Joining Solidarity Online Boda Transport Sacco gives you access to a trusted and organized rider community approved by NTSA. Members can operate in the Nairobi CBD without challenges from authorities, receive official NTSA-approved reflector jackets and identification badges (green cards), and benefit from welfare support during times of need. The Sacco also provides opportunities for savings, investment, and access to both local and international job opportunities, helping riders grow financially and secure a better future.
